Last minute Christmas baking

Never fear if you still need to make some treats for Christmas either to gobble up yourself or to give as gifts I have three recipes that are super easy. I with the help of Master Eight made these and bagged them up for the teachers yesterday.

Christmas Shortbread which I simply followed my tried and tested shortbread recipe the only different was i rested it in the fridge for about 20min before I cut the shaped out. I also let Miss Two press in some silver cachous for a bit of Christmas sparkle.

We made Rocky Road because  everyone loves Rocky Road and it so easy the kids can help with no drams.

And last but not least we made Choc Balls another winner.

I think that at a very busy and often stressful time of year its important to keep things simple. I love these recipes because they are easy and the kids can get involved making the treats.

We were able to make up ten good size treat bags to hand out with a few bit left over for taste testing,

About Me

My photo
A bit about me… I’m a wife, a mother of three kids, I’m a Christian, a teacher, I cook, I clean, I sew, I paint, I garden. I'm a contradiction of myself, I eat too much drink too but try to keep healthy, I get cross with my husband, I don’t always have enough patience with my kids. I get caught up on the stupid details of life and sometimes forget about the importance of the big picture. This blog is my blog, my space to share, to rant, a place to create I hope you like what I am doing and would love you to follow along.
