Easy Embroidery

 I love how easy it is to transform simple grows suits into something a bit more special with embroidery. Whilst I have been known to come up with my own embroidery patterns sometimes when there is no inspiration to come up with my own ideas I like to get a bit of inspiration from the good folks at sublime stitches http://www.sublimestitching.com/. I love that you can either get the paper pattens sent in the mail or get a pdf file emailed straight away. There is also lots a great products you can buy such as glow in the dark thread, t-shirt stabiliser and textiles ready to stitch.

During the first few months of having my dear baby girl I found doing a spot of sewing very relaxing. With these patterns I didn't have to think too much and could just relax and enjoy sewing.

I have been pleased with how well the suits have washed and worn. They are just cheap suits from Kmart with a bit of TLC.
