Marvouluse Mince Meat: Veggie Pasty Rolls

I can not take credit for the creation of these beauties, my wonderful man has created this recipe. The kids love it and I have told them that I have no idea how Dad makes them so if they want them Dad will need to cook, he likes making them, the kids love eating them and I do a little dance because I can have a night off cooking dinner;

Veggie Pasty Rolls
filo pastry (the fresh one works the best)
500gr mince beef
potatoe
sweet potato
carrot
zucchini
half red capsicum
1/2 cup frozen peas and corn
rice bran oil

Step 1: Finally dice onion and capsicum.
Step 2: Great potato, sweet potato, carrot and zucchini.
Step 3: Mix the veggies in with the meat, using your hand is easiest.
Step 4: Lay out 4 sheets of filo oiling in between each sheet. Double over, then lay about a 5cm thick 'sausage' the filling length way  and roll up.
Step 4: Cut into bite size portions and bake at 180c for about 15min.

We serve ours with chips and of course tomato cause. Its a great lazy day dinner to enjoy on your lap in front of the t.v.

About Me

My photo
A bit about me… I’m a wife, a mother of three kids, I’m a Christian, a teacher, I cook, I clean, I sew, I paint, I garden. I'm a contradiction of myself, I eat too much drink too but try to keep healthy, I get cross with my husband, I don’t always have enough patience with my kids. I get caught up on the stupid details of life and sometimes forget about the importance of the big picture. This blog is my blog, my space to share, to rant, a place to create I hope you like what I am doing and would love you to follow along.
