Never enough time

There never seems to be enough time. How on earth is it October? Where have the last two weeks of school holidays gone? And what about the last decade? I realized the other day that in a couple of months it will be ten years since I arrived back in Melbourne having lived in the UK for two year. Where did all that time go? And while we are at it where did my youth go?

I'm not blogging as much as I would like at the moment mainly because there simply isn't enough time to do all that I want. I the past few months we had our baby girl baptised, I returned to part time work, I have done a little sewing, done a lot of cooking, gone on a bit of a health kick, got really interested in art therapy did a couple of workshops with that read a lot about it. Oh and we had our First Annul Teddy Bear Picnic, but more about that later.

In all that business I have stopped to share my all important opinion about the producers of Offspring confirming that the dearly loved TV show wont be returning in 2015. And I for one am pleased. I am so delighted that they choice to go out on a high rather than wait for ratings to slump the shows time slot be reshuffled so many times that even loyal viewers lose track of it and it disappears quietly. I loved the show, I have often said to my husband that i hope our family is like the Proudmans when the kids are grown although I think he is aiming for less infidelity and a little more functioning. I love the way they were really there for each other and very present in each others lives all in an aesthetically pleasing way.
The story was told the show wrapped up beautifully really who could ask for anything more. I am so pleased that we wont see the bell of the ball stay out way too late dragging her mascara smudged face with her shoes in hand at 7am sneaking. Well done Offspring you went out on a high.

About Me

My photo
A bit about me… I’m a wife, a mother of three kids, I’m a Christian, a teacher, I cook, I clean, I sew, I paint, I garden. I'm a contradiction of myself, I eat too much drink too but try to keep healthy, I get cross with my husband, I don’t always have enough patience with my kids. I get caught up on the stupid details of life and sometimes forget about the importance of the big picture. This blog is my blog, my space to share, to rant, a place to create I hope you like what I am doing and would love you to follow along.
